Dark vamp

Hi All
Well I have been having a bit of a dry spell, you know artists block everything you try just doesnt work or come out right etc, well I think I managed to break the block and learn in the process what my work has been lacking, lots of contrast, I get caught up in in all the little bits but seem to miss the entire overall of the image, well if I am correct in my statement, then hopefully from here on I will be producing better art……lets see what happens.
So here is my first go, its a very old piece that I decided to fix, glad I did……see every artist needs his muse even if she is blood stained and demands sacrifices.
